John Voyzey Named President of ForTec Companies

Voyzey previously served as an officer for the Mentor, Ohio-based Steris Corporation, a worldwide leader in sterilization and infection control. He will take over day-to-day operations for the national mobile laser company and its divisions which include: ForTec Cardio, providing CO2 lasers for transmyocardial Revascular (TMR) procedures; ForTec OnSight, providing mobile LASIK Solutions for refractive surgery; ForTec Fibers, providing laser accessories, ForTec Litho, a separate legal entity that provides mobile lithotripsy solutions for urology professionals; and ForTec Service, the company’s service arm that offers 24-hour support, service and training on a national basis.

ForTec was started by Hudson, Ohio residents Drew and Nancy Forhan from their home in 1988. The company was built upon a unique business model that enables hospitals, surgery centers and medical offices to benefit from outsourcing laser technology.

Today, celebrating its 20th anniversary, ForTec Companies is the country’s leading medical outsourcing provider in the United States with more than 400 systems, 150 fleet vehicles and 300 employees. ForTec Companies has the broadest geographical coverage of any outsourcing company, with sales and support offices in 35 states.

Voyzey holds degrees from Brown University, UNC-Chapel Hill and MIT. He resides with his family in Shaker Heights, Ohio.
