The Candela Pulsed-Dye Lithotripter is designed for the fragmentation of biliary and renal systems calculi.
The Pulsed-Dye Lithotripter fragments stones without causing trauma to the surrounding tissue.
The Pulsed-Dye delivers the energy to the calculi through 320 micron and 200 micron fibers delivering up to 140 mJ and 80 mJ of power.
The delivery devices, as well as the ureteroscope with 2.0 and 3.0 French working channels are also available with the rental of the Pulsed-Dye Lithotripter.
The Pulsed 504 nm wavelength and 1.2 msec. pulsewidth, coupled with the high peak and low average powers allows for safe fragmentation of calculi.
